Mastering Machine Embroidery

Mastering Machine Embroidery

Machine Embroidery involves using a sewing machine or embroidery machine to create patterns on your crafting projects. The patterns can be as intricate as you wish and will bring depth and texture to the craft project you are working on.

We have a super page full of interesting facts, pictures and videos on how you can use machine embroidery on your next craft project. You can take a look at it here.

Indian Hand Embroidery Techniques

Indian Hand Embroidery Techniques

Indian Hand Embroidery

India is renowned for its intricate and detailed hand embroidery. There are over 25 known embroidery techniques and they are all linked to various regions and areas within India. Each technique is slightly different and has been handed down through the generations. The majority of Indian Hand Embroidery techniques involve detailed stitching in bright vibrant colours and invariably evolve into complex geometric patterns.
